CONTEXTUAL DESIGN DRIVEN BY TECHNOLOGY
IPA – Architecture and More is a multidisciplinary architectural organization working across residential, educational, healthcare, industrial, logistics, office, and urban projects. Their methodology combines deep contextual analysis, precise functional planning, and a collaborative design process that addresses both spatial and environmental challenges. This approach is reflected in partnerships with clients and stakeholders on complex, large-scale projects. The company integrates advanced technologies such as BIM, scan-to-BIM, reality capture, digital twin, 3D animations, VR, and sustainability frameworks to inform both design development and execution. For IPA – Architecture and More, architecture is an interplay between site-specific insight and digital craftsmanship, with high-tech tools enhancing project delivery and long-term spatial quality.

ARCHITECTURE FOR A CONNECTED URBAN FUTURE
For Bosch Hall inside Synergy Tower, IPA – Architecture and More transformed the existing conference facility into an adaptable ‘living lab,’ designed to let visitors explore and interact with emerging technologies in real time. The centerpiece is a 6.7 meter double-height space with a newly inserted intermediate level, accessed by lift and metal stairs, adding spatial layering and flexibility. The event hub integrates functions such as a bicycle path for e-bike testing, an exhibition area for vehicles, a co-working zone, and a VR experience room. Modular exhibition units, wire mesh partitions with integrated screens, smart tables, continuous LED lighting, and Bosch-branded accents support constant reconfiguration. Industrial materials — sheet metal, wire mesh, and concrete — paired with movable elements create a raw, functional aesthetic tailored for evolving technological showcases.

In Sofia’s Lozenets district, the KA11 residential building by IPA – Architecture and More demonstrates a refined interplay of scale, materiality, and urban context. Positioned at a complex five-way intersection, surrounded by a modernist high-rise, heritage greenery, and a historic church, the building responds sensitively to its surroundings. Its titanium-zinc facade features irregular openings that echo the proportions and forms of the nearby church, establishing a subtle architectural dialogue. The dual-tone cladding shifts appearance throughout the day, adding visual depth and resonance within the urban fabric. Inside, eight custom-designed apartments emphasize spatial openness, natural light, and material tactility, offering a contemporary living experience embedded within a carefully calibrated small-scale intervention.

Standing tall on Cherni Vrah Boulevard in Sofia, the Stellar building introduces a dynamic mixed-use program that reflects the pace and rhythm of urban life. Rising 13 stories, the building integrates office spaces on the first three floors with residential units above. The facade composition shifts from structural glazing at street level to composite aluminum panels in a brick tone with a chameleon effect on the upper levels, creating a layered architectural expression. Soft, fluid forms wrap the residential volumes, while bold geometric shapes anchor the ground floors, lending visual clarity and distinction. IPA – Architecture and More designed 71 apartments that prioritize spatial functionality, comfort, and abundant natural light, responding to the needs of contemporary city dwellers. The building benefits from its proximity to metro stations, retail centers, and parks, offering a balanced urban lifestyle shaped by connectivity and convenience.

The Park Residence is situated between Sofia’s lively city center and the greenery of Holy Trinity Park, offering a residential environment that balances urban vibrancy with natural calm. The development is composed of two interconnected buildings that frame a central courtyard, reflecting the adjacent park landscape and creating a sheltered communal space that softens the density of the neighborhood. The buildings are oriented parallel to the surrounding streets, optimizing both daylight exposure and visual composition. The facade combines soft neutral tones, warm clinker bricks, and dark gray accents, establishing a dialogue with the architectural diversity of the area. IPA – Architecture and More designed 91 apartments in a range of layouts, catering to different residential needs, while the ground floor accommodates commercial and public spaces that extend amenities to both residents and the surrounding community. Through careful integration of materiality, volumes, and urban context, Park Residence offers a contemporary interpretation of community-focused living within the city.
